In 2020, lock down forced the world to pause—but for me, it sparked a new beginning. Stuck at home, I finally had time to pick up my guitars and get back to playing. While looking on line for a new amplifier, I stumbled upon a Marketplace bundle labelled "Guitars and Amps." I only wanted one amplifier from the job lot, but now the owner of a cheap Stratocaster guitar I didn't want, curiosity got the better of me and I took it apart to see how it all worked. After a thorough clean, careful reassembly and fresh strings, I paired it with an amplifier from the bundle and sold the set for more than I’d paid for the whole initial bundle... and that’s when it clicked: every unloved guitar has potential.
